TypePedal ("the App") is a digital guitar pedalboard application developed by Nuwanda Tech. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, used to authenticate you and manage your subscription. We use Supabase as our authentication provider.
Subscription Data: If you purchase a subscription or lifetime license, your purchase transaction is processed by Google Play (Android) or Stripe (Windows/Web). We receive confirmation of your subscription status through RevenueCat, a third-party subscription management service. We store only whether your subscription is active — we do not store credit card or payment details.
App Configuration: Your pedalboard settings, presets, MIDI bindings, and device preferences are stored locally on your device. This data is never uploaded to our servers.
Crash Reports: If the App encounters an error, anonymized crash reports may be sent to Sentry (our error monitoring provider) to help us improve stability. These reports contain technical information (error messages, stack traces) and do not include personal data or audio content.
TypePedal processes audio in real-time entirely on your device. No audio is ever recorded, stored, or transmitted to any server. The microphone and audio input permissions are used exclusively for real-time guitar signal processing.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is shared only with the third-party service providers listed above as necessary to operate the App.
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Upon deletion, your account email and subscription status will be removed from our servers. Local app data (presets, settings) can be removed by uninstalling the app.
TypePedal is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit and secure authentication via Supabase.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
